The Ranch at Death Valley is a former working ranch dating back to the 1800s, and its Western heritage is evident throughout the property.
Accommodation is simple, but nevertheless clean and comfortable, consisting of individual cabins and rooms in two-story buildings. Positioned toward the south of Death Valley, the ranch is ideally located to explore nearby points of interest, including Dante’s View and Zabriskie Point. A highlight of the property is its soothing spring-fed pool, which is perfect for cooling off and relaxing in after a day of exploring the valley.

Rooms
The ranch's single-story log cabins are simple but offer a comfortable place to stay during your time in the valley, furnished with two double beds or one queen size bed and equipped with amenities such as air conditioning, a TV, minibar, phone, hair dryer and coffee maker. They also have en suite bathrooms with showers, and a small, covered patio area with seating. There are also two room categories housed within two-story buildings — Standard rooms and Deluxe rooms. These are more spacious and comfortable than the cabins, featuring two queen size beds, with a few of the Deluxe rooms offering a king size bed. French doors lead to private patios or balconies, and some of the Deluxe rooms have accessibility features such as roll-in showers.

Located in the heart of Death Valley, The Ranch at Death Valley is one of only two properties that allow you to stay within the valley, granting easy access to its main attractions.
Food and drink
The ranch features several dining options, all reflecting its 19th century heritage. The dining options include The Last Kind Words Saloon, The Inn Dining Room offering fine dining, Inn Pool Cafe, an ice cream parlor, and 1849 Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

There's a great variety of activities offered at the ranch, with tennis, basketball and volleyball courts on site, a putting green, the world's lowest golf course and two spring-fed swimming pools. Horse riding can be arranged at the property’s stables, including evening rides in the moonlight, while bicycle hire is also offered. The valley also presents plenty of hiking opportunities, as well as incredible stargazing.Â
