On arrival in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to your city hotel.

This morning you will have the opportunity to explore the hidden side of Hanoi where local people go about their day-to-day business living and working alongside the railway. Later you will discover the culinary delights of Hanoi on an evening food tour.

Today you will take the long but scenic drive to Sapa in the Tonkinese Alps and spend two days exploring the area's mountain walks and villages.

Today you embark on a trek through the minority villages within the area. En route, you are treated to some stunning scenery.

Today you depart Sapa and drive south along one of the most scenic stretches of road in Asia to Mu Cang Chai.

This morning you depart Mu Cang Chai and journey back to Hanoi for a final night in the capital.

Take the morning flight south to Dong Hoi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and your accommodation.

Today, you start the six-hour trek to Hang En, also known as Swallow Cave. The journey takes you through rural villages, rivers, and jungle to the endpoint and Hang En, the world's third-largest known cave. Spend the afternoon exploring the cave network, and you will stay overnight in a tent.

This morning you will visit the Exit Cave before breakfast, and then continue to explore the caves. You depart camp in the morning on the trek back to the main road. This afternoon you return to the coast for your accommodation where you can freshen up.

Leaving Dong Hoi you continue south with your driver to the old capital of Hue. In the afternoon, join your guide for a tour around some of Hue's important historical sights including the Citadel.

Start the day by boarding a Dragon boat for a tranquil journey along the Perfume River. You will then continue your exploration of Hue on two wheels, cycling between charming artisan villages located on the banks of the river.

Today you travel to Hoi An, stopping en route at Son Tra Nature Reserve which is home to critically endangered species including the red-shanked douc langur.

Today you will fly from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City for your final two nights in Vietnam.

Travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels by speedboat to learn about the Vietnam War and the guerrilla tactics of the Viet Cong. It's possible to enter a few of the tunnels if you are comfortable with narrow spaces, as well as see exhibitions and videos of the tunnels when they were in use.

Today your time in Vietnam ends as you transfer back to the airport.
