Rooms

Situated over nine floors, the hotel's spacious rooms and suites are decorated with rich mahogany furnishings and quality fabrics for an elegant feel. They feature an excellent range of modern amenities, including individually-controlled air conditioning, TVs, safes, minibars and Wi-Fi access. Quietly overlooking Rittenhouse Square or the city, the rooms are all en suite. For further space and comfort, the Suites offer a separate sitting area with sofa bed, while the Park Suites also have marble bathrooms and four-poster beds. Meanwhile, the opulent Presidential Suite has a baby grand piano in its living room, a large dining area and a study area complete with library.

Location

Centrally located in downtown Philadelphia, the square on which the hotel is located was named after celebrated Philadelphian David Rittenhouse. Several boutique shops, cafés and fine restaurants are within a short stroll of the hotel.

Food and drink

The Lacroix restaurant is one of the most sought-after dining venues in town, with a menu fusing flavours from around the globe. There's also the Smith & Wollensky Grill, which provides a more casual steakhouse option, while the Mary Cassatt Tea Room serves a British-style afternoon tea each day. End the day in one of the two on site bars, serving cocktails, beers, wines and spirits.

Families

Suites vary in size and many include one or two bedrooms, queen-size sofa beds and fully equipped kitchens, making them ideal for families.

Special touches for families include complimentary in-room movies and amenities for infants, such cribs and baby bathtubs, as well as a gift of choice from The Rittenhouse ‘Treasure Chest’ for children aged ten and under.
