Located on one of the main streets of tiny Kinsale, Old Bank House is an intimate hotel set in a large Georgian townhouse with high ceilings and plenty of period detail. It has a quiet, restful atmosphere, though its central location means all the bars, restaurants and activity that Kinsale has to offer are just a few minutes’ walk away.
The elegant rooms at Old Bank House are spacious and inviting with palettes of gold and white accented by rich shades of purple, red and green. In addition, there’s a gourmet café on the ground floor where a full Irish breakfast is served as well as hearty lunches and delicious cakes in the afternoon.
We like the privacy and tranquility offered by this guesthouse-style property, despite its central location.
