Aye Yar River View Resort

Residing on the banks of the Ayeyarwady River, the Aye Yar River View Resort is an established property with 103 well-appointed rooms and suites with either garden, pagoda or river views, all set in 10 acres of tropical gardens.

All of the rooms have full amenities including air-conditioning, hot and cold shower and bathtubs, coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, satellite television, in-room safe and minibar as well as a private balcony or terrace. There is a pleasant swimming pool area, perfect for an afternoon's relaxation after a tour of the temples, a spa and large restaurant serving a variety of local and international dishes. The hotel is well positioned for exploring the temples and only a 10-minute drive from the airport at Nyaung Oo.

Please be aware that balcony balustrades at this hotel do not meet the EU recommended height of 1.1 meters. The construction of the balustrades can also present a hazard to children due to the design of the horizontal rails and gaps. For this reason we cannot recommend this hotel for families traveling with children under 12 years old.
