Change location
Spend all day with your guide exploring Manila, using the public transport systems in the city. This avoids traffic jams that the city is well known for and allows the traveler more of an insight into lifestyles of the Filipino in Manila.
Highlights of the tour include Rizal Park, named after the national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, and Intramuros (walled city) where you can see the remains of the Spanish conquistadores. You also go along the old cobbled streets to visit San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the country.
Museums on the tour include Casa Manila, a reproduction of a 19th century house equipped with Oriental and European decor, as well as Philippine antique furniture; and Fort Santiago, and Old Fortress which has been transformed into a landscaped park and a museum.
