Location
In what feels like the middle of nowhere lies Camp Sarika and its ten canvas topped pavilions, dotted across the desert floor. Sitting at the base of towering canyon walls, this retreat provides breathtaking views across the eastern mesa. A perfect base in Utah to disconnect, you can stay on site to explore the trails or venture further to the nearby national parks.
Food and drink
The Camp Sarika Restaurant is located in the main pavilion of the property and serves a menu that is changed daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as afternoon snacks and tea. Amangiri Restaurant is also available to all Camp Sarika guests. Both restaurants source Utah grown produce and locally raised meats, while aiming to provide a Native American inspired cuisine.
For intimate dining experiences, meals and drinks can be arranged on secluded trails in the desert at sunset, or in private dining nooks on the property.
Environmental and social responsibility
Surrounded by the mesas and canyons of the US Southwest, Camp Sarika embraces the ethos “leaving a better world to future generations”. This secluded property implements sustainable practices throughout the area in multiple ways. Their sustainability strategy includes local heritage, local culture, environmental protection and social responsibility, as recommended by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). All food is fresh Utah-sourced produce and locally raised meats. Composting is common practice and all single use plastic has been eliminated.
