The guest rooms are all similarly appointed, with views over the ocean, gardens, poolside or city. All rooms are decorated in a neutral palette with pops of teal and orange and feature a patio or balcony. Wi-Fi, iHome docking station, television, minibar, coffee maker and bathrobes come as standard.

Located overlooking the Pacific, directly on Ocean Boulevard and just across the road from the entrance to Santa Monica Pier, the Shore Hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from some of Santa Monica's attractions including the shopping district of Third Street Promenade and the Farmer's Market. There are a variety of bars and restaurants just a short distance away.
Food and drink
While there is no on-site dining, the hotel does offer a small number of breakfast options that can be eaten on tables adjacent to the pool. The Blue Plate restaurant next door to the hotel offers a varied Mexican menu.

Environmental and social responsibility
Justifiably proud of its LEED certified, eco-friendly credentials, the hotel boasts an environmentally conscious design and sustainably-sourced decor and fittings, whilst maintaining the highest levels of comfort and style.
Some of its sustainable features include a solar-heated swimming pool, low flow shower head (which resulting in 20% water reduction) and a lift pulley system designed to save up to 75% more energy than conventional lifts. More than 10% of the building materials are local to the region and over 50% of construction waste materials, including metals, concrete, stucco, terrazzo, wood and carpet were recycled or salvaged. Guest room furniture is manufactured from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood and the carpets are manufactured with eco solution Q nylon, which contains a minimum of 25% recycled content.
