The Relais San Maurizio has origins dating back to the year 1619 as a Cistercian monastery. It has since been transformed to a Relais & Chateaux hotel while still maintaining its original historic charm. Its remote location is found in the Langhe hills of the Piedmontese countryside, surrounding by acres of vineyards. The 36 rooms and suites are completed with elegant traditional characteristics, refined details, all modern comforts and embroidered rugs which decorate the wooden flooring. There are six other rooms located in the San Luigi building, next to the main building. At the Relais San Maurizio choose to experience nature walks, wine and cheese making, cooking classes or even a selection of treatments at the large spa.
Please note that there is a local city tax that will need to be paid directly to your hotel for any stay in the Langhe area. This tax is subject to change but is usually around 2 euros per person, per night and will need to be paid on your departure.
This charming hotel is one of our preferred hotel choices in the region of Piedmont for its stunning location, views and range of facilities.
