Riad Djemanna

Riad Djemanna

Marrakesh, Morocco

Built and adapted from two older riads, the two inner courtyards each have a small dip pool and comfortable salons. Here you can relax, read and enjoy a mint tea before moving into the small dining area, where traditional homemade Moroccan dishes are served.

Each of the two buildings has a roof terrace with sun loungers and great views over the medina, which are perfect spots to relax and indulge after a busy day in the city. There is even a small hammam and two massage rooms on one of the roof terraces for those who want a bit of indulgence.

Adding to the intimate feel of the riad, the staff are friendly and helpful, and will look after you well during your stay.

OUR OPINION:

One of our favorite riads in Marrakesh, the Djemanna's intimate atmosphere provides a relaxed 'home away from home' feeling when you return after a day's exploring.

Rooms

Riad Djemanna is a small property. Each of the rooms is uniquely designed and decorated. The Suites are larger than the Standard rooms and some can accommodate three people. The Suites also feature an additional seating area or a private terrace. The Standard rooms are relatively basic and small in size but full of Moroccan charm and character, and they are clean and comfortable.

Location

Riad Djemanna is a 15-minute walk from the main sights of Marrakesh, tucked in the old medina. It can be tricky to find the first time, but easy to navigate on your own after that.

Food and drink

Riad Djemanna specializes in traditional Moroccan cuisine. Breakfast is typically served on the sunny rooftop terrace with views of Marrakesh, while dinner is served in the intimate dining area on the first floor.
