The Henry is an elegant property in the former residential compound of an affluent Chinese family, located in Pasay City, Manila, for convenient access to the vibrant city and its airport. Dating back to the 1940s, the building has been sensitively converted, keeping some of its original features such as the floor tiles, combined with modern, locally-made decor. It is set in pleasant gardens with a small swimming pool, providing a haven from Manila's busy streets.
There are 34 individually-designed rooms and suites, each well-equipped with modern amenities such as cable TV, Wi-Fi access, a minibar and safe, as well as an en suite bathroom with spacious rain shower. The suites also boast their own private garden area or balcony, an ante-room, an additional TV and a bathtub. The hotel supports local brands by providing amenities such as recycled items from an NGO project. Guests can make use of the outdoor pool and the free shuttle service that runs to Blue Bay or the nearby Mall of Asia shopping centers. Gourmet cuisine is served in the on site restaurant, Apartment 1B. Within the hotel's compound are a number of art galleries and workshops run by some of Manila's top artists and designers.
