After enjoying the breakfast spread at the Capella, your private guide will show you some of the city's highlights, including Ho Chi Minh's final resting place, the Temple of Literature (the first university in Hanoi), and the notorious Hoa Lo Prison. This evening join a local foodie for a guided tour of Hanoi's best street food stalls and eateries.

You’ll start your day with a scenic flight to Halong Bay, where you’ll have time to relax by the marina with a Vietnamese coffee before boarding your junk. Spend the afternoon cruising through the bay, admiring the karst scenery and enjoying an alfresco dinner on the top deck.

After a morning spent luxuriating on the ship, you will transfer back to Hanoi for a final night in the capital.

This morning, transfer to the Avana Retreat, near the picturesque town of Mai Chau. In the afternoon experience some of Mai Chau’s peaceful countryside sceneries on a guided walk through local villages.

Further explore Mai Chau’s beauty on a guided hike through cassava fields, bamboo forests, and paddy rice fields.

This morning you will travel back to Hanoi to catch a short flight to Danang. On arrival, your private driver will take you to your beachside hotel just a short drive from Hoi An.

After a leisurely breakfast, meet your private guide for a walking tour around Hoi An's old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Chinese meeting halls, Japanese temples, and elaborately fronted shophouses. Afterwards, you can explore independently or return to your hotel to enjoy its ocean-view infinity pool.

Visit Hoi An's busy morning market with a chef who’ll introduce you to local ingredients. Then, head to the Red Bridge Cookery School, where you’ll spend the afternoon preparing and tasting a wide range of Vietnam’s signature dishes.

Today you will be taking the luxurious Vietage train, which is the most comfortable and unique way to journey between Danang and Quy Nhon. On Arrival in Quy Nhon, you will transfer to the Anantara for a three-night beach stay.

Catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where your private driver and guide will take you to your hotel. In the evening, ride through the streets of Ho Chi Minh City on the back of a Vespa, with stops to sample street food, listen to local music, and soak in the ebullient atmosphere.

On your final full day in Vietnam, take a speedboat to the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn a little more about the Vietnam War and the guerrilla tactics of the Viet Cong.
