Situated in front of the legendary Tharabar Gate in Old Bagan, this is a well-located and attractive property. The spectacular temples of Bagan are only a short walk away including the Ananda Temple, one of the most impressive.
The 84 rooms are set in pretty gardens and are stylishly furnished with teak wood fittings and hand-painted murals and the Deluxe rooms have a small, private terrace.
The restaurant, with indoor and terraced seating, has developed a good reputation for decent Western and Burmese options. Other facilities include a nicely designed swimming pool and sun terrace, bicycle hire, laundry, babysitting and massage service.
