Octant Vila Monte

Octant Vila Monte

Algarve, Portugal

Set on a rural hillside in the heart of the Algarve, Octant Vila Monte is a rustic boutique retreat. It is spread across large tranquil gardens filled with citrus, olive and carob trees, with the 55 rooms housed in three accommodation annexes, each with their own style and character. Within the grounds, there are two inviting swimming pools, a small massage pavilion, gym, various fire pits, a large koi pond and a small outdoor cinema where you can enjoy a film under the stars.

Inside, the decor draws on subtle Moorish influences. Whitewashed rooms are filled with comfortable seating, rush matting and natural finishes, while vases of fresh flowers provide a splash of vibrancy.

While the property itself is not located right on the beach, the hotel runs a daily shuttle and boat service (for a small fee) during the summer months to a nearby beach that is not accessible by public ferry, allowing for a wonderfully quiet and relaxed day.

OUR OPINION:

We love the relaxed atmosphere and idyllic surroundings at Octant Vila Monte and highly recommend it as one of our preferred choices anywhere in the Algarve.
