Situated in the heart of Sligo on the banks of the Garavogue River, The Glasshouse Hotel’s intricate architecture is eye-catchingly designed to resemble the bow of a ship. Inside, the hotel is quirky with bright, vibrant hues throughout, eclectic furniture, and eccentric artwork.
The 116 contemporary bedrooms are slightly more muted with subtle touches that are in line with the rest of the hotel’s decor. All of the bedrooms have air-conditioning, LCD TVs with a full entertainment menu, and tea/coffee making facilities. Dining options include the Cafe Bar, View bar, and Kitchen Restaurant, although the property is within walking distance to numerous nearby options.
This hotel impressed us with its quirky touches and its location, right in the heart of the city.
