Recently opened, this modern ryokan hotel doesn't look much from the outside but inside it has been fully refurbished and exudes modern Japanese style.

Situated deep within the national park the property also offers exceptional value for money and its rooms, though sparse, are all en suite and have excellent views across the valley. The property boasts a quaint outdoor bath and also has private hot spring baths, which you can rent for private use. In the evening you'll be able to enjoy a wonderful kaiseki meal, served to you by kimono-clad ladies.
