The H10 Duque de Loulé is a stylish property located within an expertly converted 18th-century building. Outside, the original façade has been preserved, lending the property a sense of august elegance. Inside, the chic modern decor draws on traditional elements like hand-painted blue and white azulejo tiles and blends them with more modern design concepts to create a light and airy space offset by large windows.
Opened in March 2015, the hotel is a boutique option to its core. Each of the 89 rooms boasts crisp white linens, hardwood floors and elegant white and blue design elements. The large windows let in plenty of light and in many rooms have been converted into little reading alcoves. The modern bathrooms are well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
The highlight of the hotel, however, is the stunning rooftop terrace bar where you can enjoy panoramic views across the rooftops of Lisbon to the River Tagus. Open for drinks and cocktails, it’s the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere.
Located near the top of the Avenida da Liberdade and Praça Marquês de Pombal, the hotel is around a 25-minute walk from the central Baixa area.
While not the most centrally located hotel, we find the H10 Duque de Loulé to be a great value option with stylish decor and exceptional views.
